Garland made waves with their 2021 debut, “Who’s Afraid of M!key Garland?”, inspired by their personal experiences of homelessness, which was transformed into a one-person stage show of the same name, sharing a poignant perspective on poverty in Britain.
Garland continues their rise as a prominent socio-political rapper with “TERF WARS”, which pushes back against rising anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric in Britain, and serves as reply to ever polarising figures like J. K. Rowling, and Elon Musk.
Our host, Samantha Alton, is a standout talent in Liverpool’s theatre scene, having proven her stage prowess with the unstoppable hit ArtsGroupie one-woman show “Kitty: Queen of the Washhouse”, and with dozens of other stage credits to her name, including “Raves R Us”, and “By the Waters of Liverpool”.
