Ben and Tom are half of the four friends who launched The Liverpool Arts Bar  in 2019 on Hope St in Liverpool City Centre.

The four friends are creatives by nature, who have launched this space to bring the creative community in Liverpool together and give them a platform to showcase their work – whether that’s music, dance, poetry or podcasts!

Iain is the Owner/Operator of Ma Boyles pub in Liverpool City Centre. Prior to that he owned and operated Ma Egerton’s across the City Centre and has worked at some of the regions best known hospitality brands including Baa Bar and Cream During the podcast we spoke about Iain’s story, some of the challenges and solutions he’s faced so far. Kate is the Owner and Operator of Free State Kitchen, a restaurant in Liverpool City Centre which specialises in fantastic burgers, beers and cocktails. Kate and her husband, Gary, opened the business eight years ago and have since played a big part in introducing ‘burger culture’ to Liverpool and the region. During the podcast, Kate talks to us about her journey so far, some of the successes, challenges and stories which have brought her to where she is now. We also spoke about the hospitality scene in Liverpool right now and some of the developments and trends which are affecting the hospitality community.
